The Bonhizza is a multi-lingual foreign language institute with the aim of imparting high quality language training to students at different levels, from Beginner to Advanced. Bonhizza conducts foreign language classes in French, German, Spanish and English for adults and young learners, individuals and corporate clients.

The accent is on the spoken word; learning is developed in small groups in an interactive, warm and friendly atmosphere. Handled by a team of highly skilled instructors, the courses focus on improving conversational skills and other aspects of foreign language learning through role play methods, lively discussion, extensive use of audio-visual aids and other state-of-the-art teaching materials.

We are in Chennai, India, and have study centre. We train people from all walks of life: businessmen, managers, professionals, housewives, school and college students. The classrooms are WiFi and have been equipped with other requisite infrastructure. Courses have been tailored to build in audio-visual elements using the internet and other digital content.

Bonhizza Excel, which are syllabus-oriented courses that help students to appear for Indian and International Board exams in French including ICSE, CBSE, Matriculation, State Board, International Baccalaureate and IGCSE exams. Excel classes are conducted year-round for batches of students, and involve elements of group and project work that stimulate learning and foster initiative. On request, the Excel programme can also be delivered in a one-on-one "tuition" format.

Bonhizza Junior, a range of age-specific foreign language programmes for children that have been specially developed to make language learning an enjoyable experience. Learning is achieved through stimulating exercises such as role-plays, songs, games and group activities. Bonhizza Junior places a lot of emphasis on verbal and listening skills, so that children develop the correct pronunciation and accent at an appropriate early age.

BonhizzaJunior English learning courses are designed to enhance speaking, reading, spelling and writing skills. Short-term summer courses to assist children of different age groups with particular aspects of English are conducted on a regular basis.

The European Languages examination levels are defined by guidelines as laid down by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), which describe what learners should be able to do in reading, listening, speaking and writing at each level.

Levels are progressively structured to provide for continuity and higher level learning, and a certificate is awarded at the end of each level.

We ensure that the size of the group in each batch is optimal, between 8 and 15 students, so that there is a balance between having enough students for the interaction that the group requires, while at the same time not compromising on the need for individual attention.

Apart from the regular-paced chrome courses, which deliver 5-6 hours of instruction per week, fast-track options are also on offer, with about 10 hours of classroom activity per week.

For those who prefer it, the chrome courses can be made available as one-on-one tuitions, or taught to smaller groups of 2-5 students.

On request, Bonhizza also handles adult English training programmes, to bring about discernible improvement in specific aspects that the learner wishes to focus upon. This is handled only in a one-on-one format.

Bonhizza Affinity corporate programmes are tailor-made to your organization's requirements. These courses are available in French, German, Spanish, and English.

Programmes range from survival kits for those travelling overseas who need to learn the basics of the language to longer term training with a focus on building greater proficiencies.

Beyond overcoming the language barrierBonhizzs also helps learners to understand the nuances of the cultural realities that exist in the countries in which these languages are spoken. Bonhizza Affinity courses develop an appreciation of how to greet clients, meeting etiquette, dress codes, do's and don'ts in social and business situations, apart from providing several other useful cultural insights.

Corporate training is on-site and timings are adapted to suit the organization's needs. Additional languages, apart from the ones that we have listed, are available to corporate clients on request.

Bonhizza announces the English Trainer range of English learning courses. Bonhizza is pleased to introduce the English Trainer range of English courses. These programmes help to build the learners' abilities in reading and vocabulary, grammar and speaking.

The courses are based on the Read technology, a computer-based approach in which the learners work at computer terminals at Bonhizza language lab, each learning at a level suited to their ability. They are assisted by a trained facilitator, who helps them to use the software, guides them and tracks their progress. There is a range of courses for learners at different levels. Each of these courses is described in more detail below.

Beginner
Beginner is aimed at people who are beginners in English, have a basic knowledge of the alphabet and can recognize the English script. This program enables learners to build an approximate vocabulary of 400 relevant words. Learners are able to use these words in simple sentences.

Beginner +
This is the second level course for beginners. It builds vocabulary to about 700-800 words, and learners will be able to read short passages of about 50 words, as well as use short sentences in conversations.

Starter Helper
This is a course for those who have achieved the Start Helper+ level. It is aimed at learners who are able to read simple passages in English and convey meaning through short sentences in conversations. This program enables learners to read and comprehend passages of about 150-200 words. As they finish the program, they also develop confidence to conduct meaningful conversations using relevant words and sentences

Moderate Helper
This is a pre-intermediate level English language course. FirstHelperT is aimed at English speakers who are able to read and converse at a simple level, but sometimes make errors in sentence construction and pronunciation. By undergoing the program, they are able to read long passages of up to 500 words, converse at reasonable length on various topics, describe situations, and explain a viewpoint. They gain a higher level of confidence while speaking in English and can initiate and hold conversations in the language.

By the end of this program, learners will have increased their confidence in speaking in English and will display a wider vocabulary and correct use of grammar and pronunciation.

Advanced Helper
This is an intermediate level English language course. Advanced Helper is aimed at people who can read and speak English with a reasonably high level of confidence, but who need to refine their use of the language and minimize errors in spoken English, pronunciation, and sentence construction.

By the end of this program, learners will be able to speak on a wider range of topics hold conversations in English with confidence. They will show improvement in their vocabulary, sentence structure, pronunciation, and fluency.

Career Helper
This is a 30-hour program aimed at young professionals and students graduating from Engineering and other higher education institutions and preparing to start their careers in the corporate world. It seeks to improve their spoken English, specifically fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension, while preparing them for their upcoming job search and initiation into professional life.

The German language is spoken in a number of countries in West, Central and Eastern Europe. 90-95 million people in Europe use German as their main language. After English, it is the second most spoken second language in Europe, and is one of the premier business languages. It is spoken widely as a first language in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and Liechtenstein.

German is one of the official languages of the European Union, and one of the three working languages of the European Commission, along with English and French.

In India, German has been a very popular language at the College level, with a number of college students learning the German language, particularly engineering students in fields as diverse as Automotive, Mechanical and Electronics & Communication, stemming from the fact that there are strong possibilities of further studies in German universities for Engineering students.

In the corporate sector, India has a number of German MNCs with joint venture interests, including Bajaj Allianz, Henkel, Daimler Chrysler, Adidas Marketing, the BOSCH Group, and several others. As in the case of French and Spanish, the emerging BPO and Call Centre businesses in India have further fuelled the demand for those with knowledge of German.

At Bonhizza, there are a number of German language learning programmes that will help students to develop their skills.

As of 2010, between 330 and 350 million people all over the world speak Spanish as a native language, and it is the second most natively spoken language in the world, after Mandarin Chinese. Spanish is spoken widely as a native language in Spain, most countries of Central and South America, and over 42 million people in the USA (12% of the population) speak Spanish as their mother tongue.

Spanish is one of the six official languages of the United Nations, and it is also one of the official languages of the European Union and the Organization of American States. Global internet usage statistics for 2007 show Spanish as the third most commonly used language on the internet after English and Mandarin Chinese.

In the USA, Spanish is the most widely taught language in the country after English. The Hispanic (Spanish-speaking) community in the USA is sizeable, and most businesses target the Hispanics as a separate segment, with Spanish used as the language for communication with that community.

In recent years, there has been a significant spurt in investments in India by Spanish companies, with companies like Navantia, Dragados, Grupo Roca and Mapfre having entered the Indian market. Another trend that has emerged is the outsourcing of work in the BPO space to India, from overseas businesses that require the use of Spanish as the language of communication to cater to their customers.

French is one of the most widely spoken languages in the world, used as a first language by about 136 million people worldwide. Additionally, almost 400 million people in various parts of the world use French either as a second or a foreign language. In the corporate sector, a large number of French organizations have set up joint ventures in India, including Renault Nissan, Alcatel, Saint Gobain, Groupe Danone, and a number of others, all of which has contributed to a growing demand for people with skills in the French language. The new age businesses such as BPOs, Call Centres, and E-commerce companies have further expanded career options for those with knowledge of French.
